Gesso Finishes/Chipped Paint

Gesso is an ideal medium to use when creating aged or antique paint effects. Crackling, rub-through, chipping, and water spotting are just a few of the techniques sampled in this collection. Combined with colored glazes these gesso techniques create an aesthetically pleasing patina to paint.
